Miksi Early Access?

We owe much of the success of our original shapez title to the feedback and continued support of our fans, and that is a legacy that we want to continue with shapez 2. We want to ensure that our potential new title is a worthy successor to the original - and in order to do that, we’re involving the community as much as possible in the development process. Early Access allows us to take your feedback and suggestions under review throughout the development process, in order to create a game that you love as much as we do.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We’re not sure yet - we’ll be looking to release whenever we’re satisfied that the game is at a high enough quality. If we had to give a rough estimate though, we would say that there will be at least 6 months between the Early Access release and the 1.0 release.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We want to continually update the game throughout the Early Access period, and for the full release we’d like it to feature significantly more content. Whilst it’s not guaranteed that everything we mention below will be released, we attempt to include as much of it as possible - as well as additions from you, our community.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game will be fully playable and largely bug-free upon the Early Access release, and we estimate that there would already be around 25 hours of content to play through. So while we are planning to add more content and improvements, the game is ready and meant to be played already.

We’re planning to increase the price upon the 1.0 release, reflecting the additional content that our team will have worked hard to implement.

We owe many of our current ideas for shapez 2 to our community, and we don’t expect that to change any time soon. We’re currently in direct contact with our community through our Discord server, where we present new ideas, exchange feedback, conduct surveys and organise events. Feel free to join us!

Shapez 2 is a top-down factory-building game where you extract and process geometric shapes. Each shape is its own set of building-blocks that your factories can take apart, stack, paint and put back together in unique ways. Build and automate to produce distinct shapes and solve the production challenge of each goal.




Automate the processing of abstract geometric shapes into more complex ones by cutting, rotating, stacking, painting and more. Deliver distinct shapes to unlock new technologies and expand your factory’s capabilities. Shapez 2 is the purest factory building game imaginable - all buildings are free, resources never run out and there are no enemies or time limits. Prepare for a 100% factory-building experience: effortlessly delete, redesign and rebuild as much as you want, with no penalties, at your own pace.

Start your operation from a single asteroid and continuously expand by building new platforms.
